The Memory Walk was organised by the school’s PFTA (Parent Friend Teachers’ Association) to raise funds for their chosen metal health charity, Pieta House. The walk took place on Tuesday 26th June and involved walking 3km, beginning and ending at the school. Staff, parents and pupils participated in the walk. The walk was one part of the fundraising effort, with the Year 14 students also contributing money in memory of Kerrie Canning a recent past pupil of the school. The Year 14 pupils made ribbons in memory of Kerrie and also donated any profits from the sale of their leaving hoodies. In total £580 was raised. The PFTA were delighted at the amount raised and hope to make this an annual event.
