Michaela Foundation Wings Awards Winners 2021


We are delighted to announce that Kaycee Deery (Year 9) and Ava Canney (Year 13) have been selected as a Michaela Foundation Wings Awards Winners 2021!!!!

Mr Logue (form teacher) nominated Kaycee for her positive attitude to her studies, her desire to help others, and her selfless contribution to the community and school life. Kaycee has recently contributed to the North West Carnival Initiative and is a great ambassador for her local GAA club, Doire Trasna GFC.

Mrs Kealey (Vice Principal) nominated Ava for being a role model and using her talents to encourage and inspire others. Ava is a strong advocate for young females in STEM, a TEDx Speaker and a trailblazer in the world of Science and Technology.

We are very proud of Kaycee and Ava, and all our Wings Award Finalists!

Thank you to Miss McIntyre and Michaela Foundation volunteers for inspiring our young people and instilling in them the values Michaela held close to her heart.
