Pupils and Staff are off to CERN Visit

St Mary’s College, Derry

Pupils Holly Vella, Reiltin Doherty and Hannah Donnelly from St. Mary’s College are on their way to CERN in Geneva to see the Large Hadron Collider just after its recent switch on. The girls are also taking in the sights of Geneva during their visit. Accompanying them are Mr Logue and Ms McLaughlin from the school and Rachel McDermott from Culture-Tech. The girls won the all expenses paid trip as part of their prize for winning the N. Ireland wide Big Video Challenge with their video – Our Super-sonic Solar System which explained about the Solar System and our galaxy.   This entry was Articleed in Uncategorized.
